Pitta Churna

Churna is translated as “powder” in Ayurveda.  This mixture of freshly ground, organic spices has been formulated to treat all Pitta digestive issues such as acid reflux, heartburn, inflammation in the GI tract and loose stools.  Pitta Churna can be added to any savory dish to balance the digestive fire, reduce excessive heat and inflammation in the GI tract, prevent hyperacidity and burn toxins.  This spice mix also contains Guduchi and Shatavari, two of the main herbs to treat all Pitta imbalances; cleansing the liver and blood while reducing heat and inflammation.

Pitta Churna is a mild and balanced spice mixture and can be used by every-body.  Do not exceed 1 tsp a day during pregnancy.   


Add 1-2 tsp of Pitta Churna to any savory dish. For the best flavor, sauté the spice mixture in ghee before adding it to a recipe.  Alternatively, for a stronger dose (and more potent effects), one can take 1/4 tsp in 1/2 tsp of aloe (or ghee) before each meal.
