Contraindications
Tongue scraping is not recommended if there are any cuts or sores on the tongue. If there are raised papillae (taste buds), make sure to be gentle over these areas. Otherwise, tongue scraping is highly recommended for individuals of all shapes, sizes, and ages.
*It is recommended to scrape the tongue in the morning and never before bed, as this is considered a stimulating practice.
General Directions
Tongue scraping should be performed directly after getting out of bed each morning. Clean the scraper before each use. Take the clean scraper and place the curved back end at the back of the tongue. Slide the scraper down to the tip of the tongue and rinse off any residue. Repeat this process 7 to 10 times each morning, making sure to get all areas of the tongue.

Used the tongue scraper for the first time this week. Was easy to use and was amazed at the difference my tongue felt afterwards. Will definitely add this to my morning ritual .

Durable, easy-to-use and perfectly shaped….. received this as a gift after telling a wise friend about improvising with a spoon and a butter knife. Game changer! It is now a regular part of my morning routine. Still fascinates me to watch how my tongue responds to diet/emotions before I realize somethings “off.” Reading Danielle’s well-written instructions and background information always inspires and teaches me something new!
