This spice blend is very versatile and can even be utilized in more savory dishes such as kitchari, soups, stews, root veggie sautés, rice dishes, cookies, ice cream, puddings and so much more!

This blend of spices is heating and should be used with caution for those with high Pitta or increased fire in the body or mind.

General Directions

Mix ½ tsp per cup of cooked oatmeal, porridge or granola, depending on the taste of the individual. If you are mixing with yogurt, only ¼ to ½ tsp is suggested.

An alternative way to get all the health benefits of this mixture, increasing energy, digestion and circulation; is to mix ½ tsp of the spices in 1 tsp of honey and ½ tsp of ghee (optional). The addition of honey and ghee will help enhance the health properties. Take 1 tsp of this mixture, 2-3 times daily before meals.
