Contraindications
Tulsi Synergy Spice Tea is fairly heating and should be avoided by anyone with a strong Pitta imbalance.
This tea should be avoided during pregnancy. Always check with your doctor before taking herbs if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, currently on any medications, or experiencing any severe illnesses.
General Directions
Boil 3 cups of water and reduce the heat to low. Add in 2 tablespoons of Tulsi Synergy Spice and steep on a simmer for a minimum of 10 to 20 minutes before straining. The longer the steep, the more spicy the tea will become. Add in milk and honey* as desired.
Alternatively one can make a spicy herbal chai from this tea by replacing 1½ cups of the water with an equal amount of milk. Steep for 10 to 20 minutes, strain and add honey* as desired.
*Please note that honey should only be added after the tea has cooled to about 110 degrees or less. Honey becomes toxic to the system if heated over this temperature due to the molecular changes that occur during the heating process.
Ingredients

Leanne Korb –
This tea is very nice. A bit spicy, but filled with very healthy herbs/spices, that combine to make a delicious, high quality tea.

I like to enjoy this tea with almond milk and some honey to help mellow out some of the heat for my pitta, and I can literally feel it burning away any sinus congestion and foggy headedness as I drink it!
