Excellent product. Love everything about this medicated ghee. The balance of the herbs feels just right. I enjoy both the aroma and the taste. The ghee has a smooth consistency, spreads easily, and is quite nourishing to my system. I highly recommend this product! It feels calming and right for pacifying vata. I am using this product for overall immune building and pacifying vata. Absolutely love it! Medicated ghee is expensive but this is a super high quality product and worth every penny. Don’t hesitate. It’s wonderful. It also lasts a long time as you only need a small amount daily.

I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner and feel very confident recommending this wonderful Rasayana Ghrita. As a matter of fact, I am having a hard time keeping this one on the shelf! I am taking it myself daily. I love the clean smell and taste. A very pure product.

I ordered this for the post-cleanse (after a liver cleanse). It is yummy (I take it with maple syrup instead of honey because I am pitta dominant). I do have one question: will cooking with it (for pancakes) reduce the beneficial effects? Right now, I am taking it with a spoon and cooking with unmedicated ghee.

Hi Stephanie,
Thank you for your review and your question! With most of our medicated ghees, I typically advise to take as medicine rather than in food. This allows better absorption of the herbs and therefore makes them more effective. However, due to the nature of the Rasayana Ghrita, it can be added to foods since it has a better flavor and often goes well to complement more nourishing and building foods (such as oats, pancakes, Golden Milk, and smoothies).
I would still take it in warm water or honey more routinely, but it is perfectly fine to add it to your recipes as well!
Thanks again for your question!
Namaste,
Danielle
